I have a Kenmore oven that is not igniting. The burners light up great and you can hear the spark so I know there is power and gas. The igniter that lights the gas is not glowing or heating up. It does not appear to be broken, which is usually the case when the oven will not ignite. Could it be something else such as the thermostat or is it the igniter even though it looks complete. How can I tell what it is without ordering and replacing parts that are not necessary?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
