I have a Kenmore Coldspot model #10657943700. It is a side-by-side with a water dispenser and ice dispenser in the freezer door.
Inside where the ice goes into the door dispenser, it started to ice/frost up. The flap on the ice dispenser to the door does not stay closed.
The icemaker itself works great, the water dispenser works great. The mechanism does not have any LED lights or anything. It is a simple push button on or off for ice-crushed or whole and water
Do you have a diagram of the icemaker–door dispenser mechanism? Can you give me steps to determine what needs repaired to keep ice dispenser flap closed?
Thanks, I have read all the tips…but I can’t seem to find my model number mentioned in threads…I opened the door access, there does not appear to be anything obviously broken?
