Does the compressor work? You should be able to hear it running, feel it vibrating and it should be warm.
Is the condenser fan running?
Is the Evaporator fan running?
You may be stuck in a defrost cycle.
Rotate the cam on the defrost timer to see if it will fire up.
Note: It only rotates on one direction.
If it does replace the timer.
It worked for a little while but has stopped.Would you relace the timer plus a $150 service fee or get a new $800 unit?
Try turning the timer again just to confirm that it is the timer.
That it shut off again after a short time is not a good sign but perhaps the contacts in the fimer are badly pitted and are causing the problem.
If it is the timer I would replace it myself, at $12.61 it is a real deal.
