kenmore ultra wash quiet guard 3 with very little water pressure

I have a kenmore ultra wash quiet guard 3 with very little water pressure coming out of the spray arms. I have already checked and cleaned the filters and chopper screen. they weren’t really that dirty. I’m thinking maybe the wash impeller is bad. washer drains fine. Any other suggestions? Do I have to replace the whole pump assembly? or can I just replace the impeller, and if so how.

Sorry, I got a little sidetracked, Yes, all of that is fine. Plenty of water everywhere, top and bottom during wash, Just no pressure behind it. It won’t even rinse off light debris on the top rack.
I don’t know if this is normal, but during the wash cycle it sounds like it is struggling. it’s hard to explain. Instead of a fast whoosh whoosh whoosh, it sounds more like whoooooshaaaa whooooooooooshaaaaa. lol. if that makes any sense.

No, I didn’t add any hot water, there is already water in it up to the bottom of the door during wash, and I didn’t want to overfill it. when I opened the door during the wash cycle there was a lot of water dripping off of the dishes on the top rack, so there is apparently plenty of water, it’s just not enough pressure to knock even light material off of the dishes.

Could it be too much water possibly?

I do not think so.

The pump needs water the amount of water on top of it should not make a difference.

You could take a couple qurtz out after each fill just to be sure.
