My Kenmore washing machine is leaking water. It appears to be leaking from underneath the machine towards the middle front. Can any one think of what might be wrong?

Our Side by Side refrigerator has a constant, loud, annoying, modulating, ghostlike whirring sound, but the cooling and freezing operate correctly. I have read that this may be caused by a faulty motherboard, and this may be covered by a "silent" recall, but I have not seen our serial number on any recall lists.
Secondly,
The water to the door freezes in the line. I have thawed it with a hair-dryer B4, but that only lasts a day or so. I have read this may be a faulty board issue as well.
Does anyone have any guidance on the cause of these issues or on who to contact to get them repaired. Please Advise, Thanks!!
