Kitchen Aid Dishwasher will not start

My KitchenAid (Model kudio1ilbl1) will not start when "START" button is pressed. The "CANCEL" button works (drain pump runs). As far as I can tell, all of the buttons work: I put the control lock on and pressed all of the buttons, each one caused the LED to flash. I ran the diagnostic cycle (pressing HIGH TEMP >> AIR DRY >> HIGH TEMP >> AIR DRY) and all of the cycles and LEDs worked. Any Ideas out there? Do I need a new control board? Thanks
