KitchenAid Burner Replacement

While cooking I discovered that the right rear burner was no longer heating. I replaced the pot on the left front burner which immediately became hot and continued cooking. Later when I returned it too was no longer heating. The left back burner and the right front burner continue to work.

Before I order new burners I would like to know if there could be another explanation for this problem. Should I do further checking before ordering new burners?

Thanks

John Scott

Yes, check the wiring, could be a wire has burned off.
Also check the elements with a meter.
Just because both give the same symptom does not mean they have the same cause re: one could be burned out and the other may need a new infinite switch.

icemaker fills and freezes but won’t come out, it makes noise like it’s trying
but the coil on the bottom of tray doesn’t seem to be working. i don’t know if i can replace the coil or icemaker or is the problem elsewhere??
thanks for any help!!
