The dishwasher status LED for Child lock begin flashing and no buttons would operater. I tried clearing by holding down the Energy saver button. Reseach indicated the electronic control board had failed. I ordered a new board 8530929 and installed. The washer begin to operate and filled the tub, but stopped and the Rinse cycle button LED begin flashing. I was able to get the water to pump out by pressing the Cancel button. No other buttons will operate and the Rinse cycle button LED continues to blink. I may have received a defective board. I did note that the status LED’s glow faintly with both boards. I tried to do a continuity test on the user interface panel buttons, but only the Short wash, Cancel, and Soak & scrub buttons would indicate operation. It is not clear how these buttons function. The panel worked fine before and no buttons seem to be stuck. They all bounce back when depressed. Any thoughts as to my problem before I return the new control board for a replacement?
