the spark module (AP292541) had a small plastic piece break off. App Parts Pros tells me the part has been discontinued. Do you know of a suitable replacement part? Thx.

The right front double burner is now heating fully on both the small and large burner. Can the burner be replaced or does the whole class top have to be replaced?

You have to check both the switch and the heating element with an ohmmeter.
Any burner can be replaced separate.

My downdraft cooktop starting doing this very thing yesterday. If I try to turn on the larger burner on the right side it will come on by itself. If I try to turn on the smaller burner on the right side they both come on. My wife was almost burned because of this.
Our cooktop is 2.5 years old.
In order to provide most accurate advice we need the complete model number of the unit.
