I purchased this unit 4 years ago, had it storred for 3 years and insatlled last year and it has worked with no issues. Last week I changed the water filter and the insturctions said to turn off the ice maker before removing the existing water filter (I skipped this step), changed the filter and purged air / water though the door until clear and steady stream of water dispensed from the door (about 2-3 gallons to purge air and get stream clear).
The system is not making ice now. Could me not having turned off the ice maker prior to removing the filter caused this issue?
There is an Aquasensor in the freezer with on/off switch and optical sensor that looks across the freezer to see if the ice bin is full (turn off making ice). With the door open the red light blinks, but when I close the switch
How do I get the ice maker working again?
My wife just ran in and said she heard ice dump in the bin. I checked and looks like it made it’s first round of ice. Turning the Aquasenser off and back on must have reset someting.
