We have a kenmore elite he that is 6 yrs old. In the last couple of months it has started struggling with the spin cycle in that as soon as it starts, it starts knocking/ thumping as if the load is out of balance. I checked to make sure the machine is level and it is. I have also redistributed the cloths to make sure that they are balanced inside the machine and more often than not, it still continues and to the point that it interupts it’s spin cycle multiple times.
In my infinate wisdom, I feel that a bearing or bushing is worn out allowing alot of slop making it very sensitive to the slightest weight difference on one side or the other. I just don’t know for certain what that might be. Any help would be deeply appreciated, so I can hopefully add a little more balance in my life. No pun intended. Thanks
