Front load washer in washer/dryer laundry center
On any wash program the timer knob has suddenly started to move through the program very quickly – less that 5 minutes on the short wash which is usually 20+ minutes. The washer starts to fill with water and then, as the timer gets to the end, pumps out. The drum doesn’t start to rotate, even momentarily. The door lock comes on and goes off as normal, and buzzes when it reaches the end of the cycle.
Is this a timer problem? Or is it the drum drive belt? Or both!
