In the process of remodeling my kitchen I discovered that my dishwasher has been leaking on the side where the water/air inlet box is. By the look of the hard water mineral buildup it appears that water has been splashing up out of the inlet box. I used vinegar and cleaned the box and seal and replaced the seal. I then poured water in and no leaks. When I look on the various parts sites on the internet I find that with the water/air inlet box and seal there are several foam blocks available. I suspect this is what is missing from my dishwasher but the blow out drawings aren’t detailed enough to show where these blocks go. Am I on the right track ?
