LED blinking-no solutions work

I have followed the previous advice given here for the 7 green blinking light LED on Whirlpool Quiet Partner 1.

I am able to successfully reset the unit to its normal operating condition.

I have also replaced the heating element and the thermistor. The thermistor was a used part and I would like to know how to test it.

If the heating element is new and the thermistor is working, what do I test next. If the only other culprit is the control board, how do I test it?

Thank you.

See the attachment for the tech sheet

You have to also check the hi-limit thermostat and the door switch which is in the heater circuit.

The tech sheet shows the expected resistance for the thermistor.

If all OK check from the white wire on the door switch to P6 on the control board with the switch closed. This then is the heater circuit except the control board so if it is OK then the control board is bad.

denman,

Thank you for such QUICK response. I have read the tech sheet a few times and I am at a loss as to where the Ohm reading for a properly working thermistor is…

also, the hi-limit thermostat? You are not referring to the fuze in the control panel are you?

I am new to this type of repair so I appreciate your patience with me.

JB

The thermistor (circle with squiggly line in it) (grey) is at the bottom of the wiring diagram
48–52k @ 25°C (77°F)
12–13k @ 60°C (140°F)

The hi-limit is item 30 in the Tub And Frame section.
Clipped underneath the tub.

FYI: If the thermal fuse was blown it would kill power to the control board.
