LG Dryer not heating

I have an electric LG Dryer that stopped heating about a week ago. Kind of an odd situation in that the dryer was running and then after about 15 min, the power to my entire house went out. This happened twice and since then the dryer has not heated and the power has not gone out to my house again so I can only summarize that the dryer was the problem.

The dryer still powers on and runs, but will not create heat. I tried to run it with the moisture sensor drying or manual dry setting and both do not heat. I run the dryer under moisture settings and the dryer runs for a long time but never heats so I think the moisture sensors are OK.

I took the dryer apart and checked the thermal fuse, high limit thermostat, and heater assembly for continuity and they all passed. So I am confused as to what the problem could be.

Any ideas?

I cannot find any tech info on this unit.
Do you have a wiring diagram?

The first thing to check would be the power.
The heating coil/element requires the full 240 volts while the motor, control board only require half the line (120 volts).

Try flipping the breaker off/on slowly, sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker.
If this does nothing, check the voltage at the plug
L1 to L2 should be 240 volts
L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral, both should be 120 volts.
If OK
Unplug the unit and check the wires at the terminal strip in the machine to make sure none are loose or burned out
If OK
Check the power at the terminal strip.
Be careful as 240 volts is lethal !!!
