I have an LG LSC27950ST refrigerator with an ice maker, part num 5989JB0001A. The ice maker will cycle but no water will flow into ice molds. After testing everything I could think of I found if I manually cycle the ice maker and when it gets to the part where its tests the valve, per the instructions that I found, and I activate the door dispenser water at the same time then I can hear the valve activate and lets water in the ice molds. But it wont do it on its own. If I want ice I have to manually cycle the ice maker and push the door dispenser button for water for it to work. Does anyone think this is the water inlet valve that is messed up or something else?
