I have a Maytag top loading washer and when I close the lid the washer will not start. I had issue’s with this for a while so I would gently lean on one side of the lid and it would start. I can’t get that to work anymore however and so I believe I need a new switch. I wanted to see what your thoughts were and how easy that would be to change out if I purchased the parts online.
