I have a Whirlpool series 940 model number DU940QWDZ2. It is 15 years old and has never needed any maintenance. Just last night when it was started it proceeded through the cycle according to the lights, but the machine never actually started. I am wondering if it could be a control board, thermal switch or door switch. Any ideas for troubleshooting?
