Hello! My "Load Sensing" Whirlpool washer fills to the top no matter if I fill it with clothes or just put in a pair of socks. I checked YouTube and gone through the steps to check the Auto Load Sensing Switch (check voltage on the Violet, Pink and White w/Red wires. . .all have 120 volts. Seems the common problem I see online is the washer starts to agitate immediately upon starting, while filling at the same time. .Mine doesn’t do this. . it just starts filling. .and continues to fill to the top every time. I’ve removed the plastic tube, blown through it and it seems clear. . I then sucked on it and it pulled water up, then blew again to clear the line. I could just order a replacement switch for $55 but according to the video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vc05y4lNWNA) if you’re getting 120v from those 3 wires, then it isn’t the switch. There must be another component to this "Load Sensor" in addition to a water level sensor. . .like a "weight" sensor? Any advice is appreciated. . .I miss my manual water level dial !!!
