My problem started suddenly, worked one day and not the next. The washer will fill and empty during cycle with normal noise, only when it is full of water it makes a loud noise. It is not a grinding noise, more of a load buzz or hum. I looked underneath and it seems to be coming from within the tub. Can it be a motor, water pump? Any help would be appreciated as it seems to be expensive for parts and repair! I can record the noise if that helps?
The igniter is wired in series with the burner valve. When the thermostat calls for heat, line voltage is applied to the circuit. As the igniter begins to glow, the current increases. The current flow causes the valve to open when the igniter becomes bright red (almost white). It stays on and keeps the burner valve open as long as the thermostat (temperature control) calls for heat.
