Finally hooking up my never been used 2008 Frigidaire Gallery gas dryer…converted from NG to LP with the proper conversion kit for the machine. We’ve never had a gas dryer so we’re not sure how it’s supposed to look/work. Our concern is a sputtering of the lp gas… I put the machine on high temp and to run for 60 min with nothing in the dryer just to test the machine since it was the first start up…we get a blue/orange flame but it sputters yellow & flashes. Runs for about 2 minutes and then the gas shuts off for a bit and then the ignitor glows, lights and the same thing happens again. Is the sputtering/flashing normal?
