I replaced the ignitor in the oven and it would not ignite or glow. i proceeded to check all wires and it lead me to the safety valve. I jumped the wires to see if it would glow/ignite and it did. Does this mean that safety valve is bad. the red wire was hot coming from the back of the oven. the white wire connected to the valve was coming down on the right side. can anyway tell me how to test the safety valve or have any idea which way I should go now.
