Magic Chef Range will not turn off with cancel button

Hello, I Magic Chef over will not turn off with the cancel button. You have to set the cook time and wait until elapses for the oven to shut off.

We have a DACOR CPS130 and the control panel has gone wacky and will not control the oven. The temperature actually goes backwards. Do we need to replace the entire Control Panel or ??? Please advise…:confused:
