I’m having some trouble with a Maytag dishwasher, and I could use a little help. The dishwasher came with the house, so I’m not sure how old it is exactly or what repair/service has been done on it previously.
The dishwasher appears to be leaking around the seal between the motor and the bottom of the dishwasher tub- one drip is apparent (and, judging from the residue, appears to have been there for some time) near the plastic ‘handle’ used to lock the motor/sprayer assembly in place from the bottom*. I thought at first that the gasket* that fits around the motor/sprayer assembly and the bottom of the tub was bad, but the problem has persisted after I replaced that. As an amateur, I’m not sure how to attack the problem next; do you have any advice?
