My dryer just stop heating and I read all the instructions, but
can’t even open the small door at the bottom to see if there is
lint buildup around the ignitor.
The dryer has worked very well until this problem, except for a
replacement belt many years ago.
The dryer advances on the time setting, so the timer is OK I think,
but it doesn’t stop on the auto settings as the clothes are not dry.
I feel this is because there is a problem with the ignitor or flame
sensor, or lint buildup.
I would appreciate any comments you have to help me resolve this
problem, including how to open the door to check if there is lint
around the burner.
