Dryer works on timerd settings but does not get clothes dyer on electronic dry cycle unless run 2-3 times seems to cut off too quick. Is there a thermal/dryness sensor. One person said this does not have a sensor but rather a "multi-temp thermostat". What are your thoughts? Also are there any drum glides, belts, txc that should be replaced in a dryer this age? Thank you.

Oldpadler, Based on my information, your dryer does have a dryness sensor bar [part]AP4037380[/part] located on the front bulkhead at the 5 o’clock position. You may want to replace it, or at least clean the assembly, with alcohol, and check the two wires for proper connections.
Also check and make sure the exhaust vent piping is clean, and the vent hood is operating properly.
Good Luck and Thanks,
