We bought this refrigerator new in late 2005, sort of surprised it stopped working. After reading through the posts it sounds like it is a bad relay or starter, but I don’t know how to tell which it is.
Symptoms were the fan coming on and clicking spaced apart 5-10 seconds, then the realization that our refrigerator section was warm and the freezer started to go shortly thereafter (I think, the noticeable part was the refrigerator and we cleared the freezer before things thawed). Milk was definitely curled.
So, how to I determine the problem? I read lots about a "kit" but they don’t seem to make one for my particular model. Please help!!!
