Maytag Gas Range - Model MGR 5880 BDS. The oven will not heat up using either the bake or clean functions, however the broiler still works. I tried removing the bottom cover (which looks like it covers the bake element) but ended up getting it stuck, and now can’t get it out to check underneath it. Can I keep tugging on it to try to get it loose, or will I end up damaging something? Tried pushing it back in place, but won’t go either.
I’m located in Canada, but am assuming parts will be the same as in the US.
Thank you in advance for any help you can give me. I’m hoping to have this fixed in time for Christmas dinner.
