Maytag Gemini Front Right Dual Burner stays on High

Hi. I have a Maytag Gemini Model MER6772BAB dual oven. It has served me very well over the years. Recently, the right front dual burner has been staying on HIGH heat no matter what setting I dial or what size burner element I select. It turns on and off OK. Just doesn’t change from HIGH to a lower temp setting. Whole burner element stays lit All other burners work just fine (i.e. when turning to a lower heat setting, burner will darken, and then cycle on and off to maintain that lower heat level). Front right burner just stays ON. Burned a couple of good strip steaks because of this. Can you help? Thanks.

I’d say its your switch that is bad. You did say it was the dual element switch right? If so, this should be the switch you need.
