Maytag Glass cooktop removal

The igniter switch in this cooktop broke, and ordering the replacement parts doesn’t seem to be a problem compared to figuring out how to remove the glass top so the inside can be serviced. Is there a way to figure out how to do this on this type of cooktop? I can’t seem to find any screws to separate the aluminum chassis from the glass cooktop, and I thought removing the burner assembly would allow me to simply lift up the glass. Thanks.

The way it’s looking is that the glass simply is sitting on the aluminum chassis and held together by a sticky gasket.

Interesting. I ended up coming in from the outside corner of the glass and the mating surface of the aluminum chassis, and used a butter knife to pry the glass off, and that seemed to do the trick.
