New to this forum, hope I can find an answer.
I have a Maytag mde2400azw dryer, about 5 years old. The dryer has begun to make grinding noises, and the drum seems extremely loose. The drum has about 1/2 inch of up and down play at the door, and also has some movement front to back. Could it be the felt bushing at the door end, or is there something else that supports the drum?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
