Maytag MLE2000AYW dryer heating problem

So far your web site has helped me with my attempts to fix our Maytag MLE2000AYW stackable washer dryer but I have a few questions. The drum does go around and I pulled the heating assembly and it showed good or (0) for the fuse, low thermastat, High thermastat, and 11 resistance for the heating coil. I put it back together and it worked (So I thought). The wife used it this morning and it did not heat. I put the timer on the setting I tested it yesterday and it still worked (the more/Less dry area of the timer) but at the normal time digit area and perm press it does not heat. Could it be the timer? or should I be looking for somethinng else?

I checked the braker, checked the electric posts where the plug wires in and I checked for obstructions in the venting as well. All good.

Any help to narrow the search would be of a great help so that I do not order the wrong parts. You have saved me from ordering a heating assembly so far.

sorry wrong post

My May tag washer MAH6700AWW runs to rinse cycle then ND appears. I have read prior comments and inspected the hose, pump wires. The last comments lead the person to replace the electric board. I am wondering how much a board costs as well I have one other problem , it makes a noise when it gets to this stage like a gear is missing , this noise is there off an on for a few moments while it attempts to spin (moves once or twice around) then it just stops.

Is this board a big expense and anyone experience this sound. Is it worth fixing it is 2006 and all the bad things I have heard it may be better to get a new machine, any comments?
Thanks
