Maytag neptune washer-stop spinning

I just replaced the belt for my washer. During the spinning cycle, the washer stops spinning after about 10 sec., not going up to the higher speed, leaving my clothes still wet. I made sure there is no blockage in the water hose. Could this be a problem with the water pump? Is there a reason why this happening and how can I fix it?

not 10 sec. it is about 30 sec.

Have you changed the door latch wax motor yet? The MAH4000 Neptunes have the faulty 12002535 wax motors that short out and burn Q6 and R11 on the upper control board. See [NEPTUNE BEARING](http://www.neptunehelpsong.com"]MAYTAG NEPTUNE WASHER R11 Q6 REPAIR KIT + 12002535 WAX MOTOR[/URL] for a video that explains the issue. If you have not replaced the wax motor yet I recommend ia. The new design has the black actuator tip.

If you hear the machine ramp up, stop, tumble, ramp up … all over again during spin cycle then you have an issue with the balance circuit because the control board does not check the balance circuit until you hit about 90 rpms. If it sees that the circuit is opened then it will stop, tumble to redistribute the clothes and retry the ramp up again. It will keep repeating this cycle then before you know it the spin cycle time has ran out.

If this is the case then you should get the wiring diagram out of the console section and look at it. The three inertia switches are located on the far right side of the schematic. It is possible one of the switches needs wiggled or a wire came off one of the switches.
