Maytag oven Broken and beeps regularly on its own

Stove is Admiral LER3330AAW

We have been hearing random beeping the last month or so coming from the kitchen, but were unable to figure out what it was.

Last week while we were using the cook top my wife heard the beeps coming from the control panel on the stove, and then the display unit turned off the display. We could still hit buttons and get beeps but the display turned dead.

When we were done using the stove top we hit the breaker and waited a few minutes. When we turned it back on the display was still dead.

Then maybe 15 minutes passed, more random beeps, then the control panel was back to normal and let us set the clock and the oven would function.

Since then it has been random on if their is a display showing the clock or not, and if the oven would work. This went on for two more days or so.

Now the last few days its just been dead display, pushing some of the buttons makes it beep, no working oven though at all.

I got the schematics and took a look and the circuit is very simple. The main power seems to only go through some of the Stove switches before going to the control, it doesn’t look to go through a fuse or any other part that could break. in fact other then the switches, and a few status lights, it seems the control panel is the only thing that could be wrong.

I didn’t see anything bad on the board, capacitors open or any burn marks. I guess should i check that its getting 120volts to it? otherwise should i just order the new part? Its an expensive part but new stoves are even more expensive.

Does it sound like this would be the culprit, is their any other troubleshooting i should do before ordering this part?
