I would gladly appreciate any pointers on this situation. This is a lp gas stove. The burners work fine. The broiler works fine. The bake igniter
won’t glow. I checked with a 120V test light at the connector to the
igniter. There was no voltage and therefore the igniter will not work.
I am not sure what to do next or where to check for voltage and how to get power to the bake igniter. Any suggestions please. Thank you.
On the igniter, there are two leads. One goes to the gas valve and one goes to the oven control. Turn the oven on and test from the wire that goes to the control and ground (any metal surface). Do you read 120 VAC?
attn: appl. ninja will try this and get back with you. thank you.
I am not getting any volts by doing this.
If you read no voltage, the oven control is faulty and will need to be replaced. The correct control for your model is available at the link below.
