My husband checked the dishwasher and it has power but the start button won’t light. The other cycle lights do light. Haven’t had any other problems with it. The other day it was difficult to start but finally did, but now, nothing. Thanks.

Sounds like the touchpad has failed.
If you have a volt meter we can make a couple of tests. Start by flipping the breaker off for several seconds, if the problem persist the touch pad will need to be tested, with a volt meter we can check the polarity on the ribbon cable.
