In need of some advice, please. The door latch on our Maytag Quiet Series 300 Model MDB9600AWB dishwasher is not clicking/engaging when we close the door front. If we try to open the door during a wash cycle, since the latch is defective, the washer is not cutting off like it used to; and water sprays everywhere in the kitchen.
Is there a way to repair the latch by taking the door off and manipulating it or is it something we should just replace on our almost 10 yr. old washer?
