Maytag timer not advancing in timed or auto.

Hello:
My Maytag MDE7658BYW dryer timer does not advance in the timed or intellidry cycles. I have replaced the timer but still won’t advance. Have seen here where the sensor board may be bad.
I have tried to continuity check the new timer (using the wiring diag. provided with the dryer) and there seems to be some discrepancies with the new timer functions. One discrepancy is that the timer motor is supposed to be internally connected between pin 47 and pin 15 of the timer,but it is not connected there. Also, some switch closed positions do not agree with the diagram. I suspect that there have been some revisions made to the timer design making this wiring obsolete.:confused:
Any help you can provide will be appreciated.

Based on responses from this and other forums, I have ordered (AP4044037 (33002905) Sensor assy) from APP today (Mon. 12/20). I can provide feedback of results later. Would still appreciate hearing from you as to what else to check.

Ok, for anyone having a same/similar problem, replacing this sensor assembly board corrected my problem. I purchased the board from APP and delivery time was super quick. This was an extremely easy fix (unplug dryer, remove control panel,unplug old board and plug in new board, replace control panel). I just wish I had tried the sensor board first, instead of the timer. Hope this helps someone !!!
