Maytag washer humms

My matag commercial centennial washer will fill with water and then just hum. I was able to move the tub around and then washer would start agitating and or spinning but now the washer hums no mater what I do. I checked the motor coupler and it is fine no broken prongs on plastic parts. no aparant leaks under unit. will not drain spin or agitate now at all. unit will fill only. tryed every setting same result. looked at all wires and connections and appeared ok no burning etc. when you let the unit hum for long you smell a burning smell so I do not let it hum for long. Motor seems to turn fine by hand. Timer advances fine thru cycles even tho washer does not. I have no clue what to check next??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
