There is a video out from Maytag telling you how to trouble shoot the no spin problem. If yours has the burned out R11 resistor on the main board I have a quick no cost fix. Don’t buy any parts. Take the front of the machine apart to expose the wax motor. Jump out the wires to both micro switches. This will fool the control board into thinking all is ok with the lock. Remove the wax motor only. Cut a piece of wood the size that will fit to jam the locking gears closed as the wax motor would do at full extention. Remove the plastic release line attached to the spring loaded gear. And replace it with a piece of stainless wire or small gauge solid wire. Run it across the machine so it lays outside the cabinet to the left. Attach a handle to it. When you pull on it the gears should come apart. Now put the machine back together. You might have to spread the metal a little to allow some clearance for the wire to slide in and out easy. Its just a matter of pulling on this wire before you open or close the door. The machine should work normally. No service charge, no parts, and no main board replacement.
