Have a Maytag microwave that stops working. Recently broke the glass turn table and have not replaced it yet. Have been using the microwave without the turn table. Two seperate times the microwave has stopped working and appears to have lost power. Later, the unit regains power and will work again. In the process of obtaining a replacement turn table. Is the microwave overheating and shutting down as a protection and then resetting itself? Is it safe to use the microwave without the turntable until the replacement turntable is available?
