Microwave vent and internal fan stopped working

We purchased our over-the-range microwave two years ago and now the internal fan to the microwave and the vent fan are not working. What could be causing this? Microwave is still heating - just no fan available anywhere. I am trying to see if repairs or a new microwave is the most cost effective way to go. Whirlpool will not lift a finger because we did not buy their extended warranty. :mad:

hello, this may be water under the bridge, but my microwave range fan stopped working today. I looked in the manual, I phoned the 1800 number and then I thought hey lets unplug and plug in again and it started to work…saves buying a new microwave. and better yet saves having to install a new one which is even worse…hope yours is working too
