I just replaced the icemaker with an Amana IC6 kit which included the water valve. I checked the water valve with an external power across the solenoid- works fine- water flows. I checked the "module type" contol at the end of the ice maker . There were the 6 test points you read about to check the module. N,M,H,T,L, and V. I got very low voltages or none. Results: L-N 6.3 v total module
T-H 6.6 V bi metal
L-H 0 V heater
L-M 0 V motor
N-V o V water valve
No wondor itis not working. The question is are these voltages coming from some "control board" that is out. Where is the source-- that must be the problem. It is a GE fridge over a lower freezer with the icemaker in the freezer. Any answers??
