My 2 year old Kenmore dishwasher runs normally in all cycles except wash. The motor cuts on for about 3 seconds, runs, then cuts off for 6 seconds then cuts on again for 3, off for 6, over and over. The spray arms seem normal, aren’t blocked or stuck, any suggestions?

Washing Machine will not agitate or spin. I started a load the other day and it was agitating just fine at first but then it stopped just before the spin cycle. I tried to move the dial to different parts of the cycle but all the machine does is make a busing noise. Any advise?

I am going to give you some suggestions, but only because no one else has answered. Before you accept them see the disclaimer at the end.
I would try to determine if the motor or transmission is not working. You should observe the machine with the front cover off and see if the motor is turning, if the belt is ok (not broken) and if the transmission is free. If it is the motor check to see if 120v are getting to it, there may be a wiring problem. if the belt is broken or loose, replace it.
