It seems like the heavier the load the harder it is too dry the clothes. The dryer will turn on, the burner lights off, the dryer heats ups. There seems to be enough heat, I will leave come back and the clothes are still wet to moist. I cleaned the lint trap and removed the cover to the fan cleaning that as well. This model does have a moisture sensore.
I just ran it on timed dry with the timer set at 70minutes. It warmed up normally. I came back 10 minutes later and the dryer had cycled through the timer and was off. On the top is the Automoisture sensor timing. I will try that now with it set to normal.
Sounds like you have a clogged or partially obstructed vent.
Hello Magician,
There is a similar thread that has the same issue. The name is Gas Dryer Heating some but not enough by Darlinlee. I have cleaned the lint trap (removed lint cover below). Took the exhaust tube off and cleaned that. In this thread the person was asking for the temperatures that registered for each cycle. Here is what I found:
Cotton High - ~150F, 1 cycle then shut down. Have to reset timer to restart
Normal Med High - 140F, multiple cycles.
Perm Press Med - 122F, Multiple cycles.
Ultra Delicate Xtra-Low - ~110F Multiple cycles. (Thermometers scale starts at 120F, had to interpolate).
