I have an 11067632600 RESIDENTIAL DRYER. I just ordered and installed a AP2975191 (3404233) push to start switch and my dryer kicked right on. Then it stopped working again and seems like my dryer’s timer won’t let the dryer start. I turn it to the start position but it will not start. The end cycle buzzer kicks on and I keep hearing a click from the timer ever time I push the PTS switch. My guess is the timer. Anyone:confused:
Here are your parts

See the attachment for the wiring diagram.
It sounds like the timer is OK but since the dryer motor does not start up there is no latch switch for the start switch. This is parts of the one of the motor’s centrifugal switch mechanism. It is wired in parallel with the start switch and closes when the motor gets close to operating speed. It lets you release the start switch and keeps the motor running.
I would check the thermal fuse first. Third item on the first page of the parts.
It is mounted on the blower.
Unplug the unit and check the fuse with a meter should be 0 ohms.
Jiggery Pokery method is.
Unplug the unit.
Remove both wires from the fuse, short them together and tape them up so they will not short to the frame.
Plug the unit in and give it a try.
If blown, replace the fuse ASAP as it is a critical safety device re: prevents lint fires which can turn into house fires.
Also clean/check your vent system and the blower as these are the most common causes of it blowing.
I would also check the dryer element to see if it is grounded.
Thanks Bro, just tested it and it worked like a charm. The part will be here wednesday. Thanks Again
