My Maytag washer very noisy

My Maytag washer (MAVT236AWW) very noisy at washing cycle. It OK at spining cycle.
Please help:confused:

How freely pump pulley moving? Not that much.
So I have to replace the pump ? Or…

Faulty pump bearing is one of most common problem with this washer. I believe replacing the pump should solve the problem.

Gene.

how can I access to the pump? from bottom or side of the washer?

Remove the rear access panel. If it would not help then remove the front panel.

Gene.

I replaced the pump. The washer still noisy.
The sound like metallic sound.

The top agitator ( clothes mover) has a 7/16 bolt that has to be removed in order to remove top agitator. I have tried to turn it but bottom agitor turns and I cannot break bolt loose. Any suggestions will be appreciated

I have a Gibson Upright Freezer The model number is 83 4121R2
I am trying to figure out how many cubic feet this model is.
Can you help me?
Sharon

That is not a good model #. Look on the tag that has model # and serial #, and see if the cubic feet is on it. If not give us a good model # and we might be able to tell from there. You also can measure the width of it, and call your local appliance store and tell them, and they might be able to help you. Tom http://www.applianceeducator.com

I am a novice at this. It does not say cubic feet.
The model number is 83 4121R2
The Serial number is 073683 3 9 4 8
Refrigerant 12 11 oz

LS140 HS 235 LBS TEST

60 hertz 4.5 amps
H.P. 1/4 115V
Gibson Greenvale Michigan

Do any of these number indicate cubic feet?

No the best thing to do is call the local appliance store with the dimensions of the product. Tom http://www.applianceeducator.com

Help!!

The oven won’t ignite. I can hear the "clicking" as well as I can smell gas but NO heat even after the oven tries several times. After a few seconds the oven stops and then tries again.

I am pretty handy but not sure what to do.

Thanks for any advice.

Please reply to this

Get someone to hold the bottom of the agitator and loosten the bolt. If very hard to turn, be carefull not to bust it. I usually turn it a bit then spray WD- 40 on it and turn it back and forth till it frees up. Avoid using a break out bar on it, you might sheer it off in the tranny spindle.

Can Anyone Guide Me. I Removed Entire Heating Element With Thermostat And Modules Still Attached, Also Removed Thermal Fuse And Took To Nearby Appliance Store To Get Tested. The Thermostat Seemed To Be At Fault. Replaced It,put Back Together And Coils Were Red Hot With Heat. Good To Go. Wrong! Apparently While Drying First Load I Lost Heat Again. Who Can Help?
