Greetings, I need advice on how to properly connect the new drain pump. the old pump has a blue impeller and 4 metal connection prongs that are situated horizontally. There are 2 wires connected to a metal clip and this is attached in position #2, and a metal clip with only one wire connected to position #3. The new pump has only 2 prongs that run vertically and it looks like some type of wiring harness is required. I contacted nancy on chat and she said that a connector is required and have purchased the part. bummer that it was not clear that this was needed so i could have saved on additional shipping cost and down time. she was unable to tell me where to place the clips… the clip with 2 wires attached to the top position and the clip with one wire attached to the bottom position or visa versa. she also said that it most likely didn’t matter but i want to make sure i do this right so i don’t have to take the whole thing apart again. please advise.
