The heating element in my dryer, GE model DVL223EB1WW went bad on me. I’ve got the dryer all apart except I cannot get the old heating element assembly out. The assembly is behind the piece that the drum attaches to, and unless I get this piece off I do not see another way to get the heating element assembly out. Anyone know how I go about doing this? I see no screws or anything else from the inside of the unit. From the back I can see the ends of screws that attach everything but I cant get at the heads. Also, I still need to buy the heating element assembly itself so if someone knows a reliable source for that I’d appreciate it but it won’t do me any good if I cannot get the existing one out of there. Thanks a lot.
