whirlpool ed22tqxgn00 does not dispense water. Ice maker makes ice and dispenses. Removed front cover and checked micro switch form continuity, checked actuator arms for damage. Finally I order new two way water valve and installed but have same problem. When water switch is pushed you can hear the valve hum. Any additional ideas ?
The water line that runs between the water inlet valve and ice maker is most likely frozen shut and will need to be defrosted.
